Islamabad High Court declares Imran's jail trial in cipher case illegal

The Islamabad High Court has overturned the government's order to conduct a jail trial of former prime minister Imran Khan in a cipher case related to alleged leaking of state secrets. The HC declared the notifications for Imran's jail trial to be "without lawful authority and no legal effect". The case revolves around a diplomatic document that reportedly went missing from his possession which contained a threat from the US to overthrow his govt, Imran claimed.
